Reverse printed in grey and red; bottom left a red rectangle with an outline map of Ireland, with a grey dot over Adare and a short grey arrow to the dot; all in grey after this; to right of map, "Desmond Castle, Adare, Co. Limerick: The wooded banks of the river Maigue close to the/ village of Adare provide many pleasing sylvan vistas,/ good fishing, and historic sites. The Desmond Castle which was erected in the 13th century saw many a struggle for possession.
