Medal, gold, 9c. Circular with projecting lobes of shamrock at each quarter. Suspension ring at top, with on ring loose in it. Obverse; at centre a shield displaying three crowns, the Munster provincial arms; banner over reads "I.R.F.U." and on banner below "Munster Challenge Cup"; all previous inside a decorative border of celtic interlace between shamrocks at each corner. Reverse; Engraved "Munster Sen. Cup/ Won By/ Bohemians/ P.J. Delaney/ 1927".; stamped below the engraving "C. Cromer/ Limerick"; hallmarked at bottom, Dublin foreign plate mark, "M"=1927 and "9 .375"
