Postcard, b/w, glossy; white margin around view; titled at centre bottom within the view. "Kilkee Co. Clare". View of the town taken across the bay from waveswept rocks at right of picture. Reverse printed in green; "Post Card/ Made in Ireland" at centre top; "For Correspondence" to left; "For address only" to right; "Guaranteed Real Photograph" up centre as division; "Produced by Cardall Ltd Dublin", across centre bottom. Dark green two-pingin stamp, showing the outline of Ireland under an arch with "Eire" on the arch, interlace on the pillars and shamrocks in the spandrels. Large circular black cancellation is blurred and illegible in part but legible part reads "???eanag[or c]h. Co. An Chl[air]" around the edge and only "VII" legible in centre. Addressed to Mrs Cole, Tullyhumphries, Redhills, Co. Cavan, and signed "E"; message weather fine will you come for a visit? Pencil inscription at top left "Clare", a dealer's mark.
