Console table; by Peter McCarthy & Son. Single leg with ball and claw foot, scroll decorated, with replacement white marble top; all wood painted gold. Surround; front in three pieces, one piece to each side and one piece across back; front and side decorated with scroll motif. Leg held to surround by a separated piece at back joining the two; stregtheners at both front corners. Label on inside of frame reads "Peter McCarthy/ & Son/ Cabinet Makers/ furniture taken.. in exchange/ and upholsterers/ auctioneers/ 38 George Street/ Limerick/ Funeral .... supplied"; drawing of coach to left, chair and table to right.
