Print, black and white, hand coloured in pale yellow and brown; "Barrington's Hospital, Limerick". View of the facade of the building, front on, with a carriage moving off to right. Cut from a book, there is text around the view and on the reverse, that on the reverse about Mr. Russell's bacon factory and his "rat barrack". A second small cutting from the same book is attached to the mount and the words "Barrington's Hospital" are ringed and followed by "Limerick" in pencil, giving instructions for mounting. Both pieces of paper held by clear sticky tape along their top edges. Olive green mount with gold line around and "Barrington's Hospital, Limerick" in gold lettering on mount. On reverse of mount in pencil "1830". Framed Feb. 1998; gold painted wood frame, with Chris Doswell sticker.
