Spectacles in case. Spectacles have small oval lenses in a "gold" i.e. copper alloy frame, with flexible wire side pieces. The case is two part and of metal, iron?, hinged along one long side and lined with green velvet; the outside is covered in a green cloth(?) which is markedly ridged. The lid of the case is stamped in gold "C. Cromer, Limerick, Ophthalmic optician".
