Notebook, manuscript, in the hand of Miss M.E. Gleeson. Spiral bound buff coloured softback notebook, punched at left margin. Cover printed, in red and black, with the Provincial Arms and "University/ Notebook". Cover inscribed in ink, "M.E. Gleeson/ Historical Notes" and a list of 10 dates, not in order, between 1836 and 1919. 84 sides, white paper, blue ruled lines. Notes written in pencil, and blue and black ink. The contents, for the most part, are about artistic events in the town, mostly music, theatre and opera, with several cast lists. 5 blank sides towards the end of the book.
