Photograph, black and white, from glass negative. Group of Free State troops at ease in front of the Old Bazaar Company (corner of William St./ O'Connell St.). Some rest on their knapsacks, while others to the right of the picture, lean on a car parked against the kerb. The shop advertises, on the facade, "Articles from six and one half penny" Two adverts for "Great Bargains" and "Grand Clearance Sale" in the window. Donor's label on the reverse. Inscribed on reverse, in pencil "William St. Corner July 1922"
