White margin around picture; text in bottom margin reads, "Limerick" The view shows The Crescent from high on the east side, looking north-west, with the Jesuit Church at centre, O'Connell Memorial at right and corner of Hartstonge Street by right margin. Reverse printed in black; "SP216" at top left; at bottom left "Limerick City, standing where the River Shannon becomes tidal/ is an historic place with many interesting features; it is also an/ important port and industrial centre. Limerick-cured hams and/ bacon enjoy a world wide reputation, and the making of the/ traditional Limerick lace is still carried out in the city" with "Photography: Peter Zoller" below. Trade mark at centre top "Insight" followed by a triskele, both in white in a black rectangle, with "Ireland" below in black. Rectangular box for stamp at top right, five lines for address below.
