Postcard, b/w, matt. White margin around the view, with the caption "The Docks Limerick" at centre bottom, a second inscription has been crossed out in black ink and is illegible, though the last word may be "France". The view shows the docks from the wall looking back towards the city; Four large ships in the dock, dock clock near left edge of picture. Reverse printed in black; "POST CARD" at centre top, with double vertical line below, with four lines for the address to the right. Unposted and unused.
